The Museum of Vancouver is one of our favourite locations. Situated in Kitsilano near Vanier Park, the beautiful facade is an architectural masterpiece that makes for a wonderful backdrop for a wedding or engagement session. It was the perfect location this wonderful couple who will be getting married this summer in Vancouver! We can’t wait to document Emily and Leo’s wedding in the coming months.
Ever since meeting Valerie and David, we’ve been counting down the days to their engagement session and wedding. It’s always an extra bonus when everyone’s visions are aligned and we feel that these two couldn’t have been a better match for us. Also, their engagement session at Stanley Park proved that they are the perfect match for each other. We are excited for all the weddings we’re documenting this year; however, Valerie & David’s upcoming wedding at The Pipe Shop will definitely be one of our highlights due to the architectural aesthethic of the venue as well as situated at Londsdale Quay in North Vancouver. We can’t wait to share with you how it went!
Late March to mid-April can only mean one thing in Vancouver, BC. Cherry Blossoms! We have identified it as a yearly tradition to capture couples during this short-lived, yet beautiful season. It can be bit elusive with regards to the logistics in identifying the peak bloom with our couples’ schedules. Taking the weather into account, the window of opportunity can be fairly narrow. However, it seemed as though the stars were aligned when documenting Raissa and Julian’s engagement session at UBC this Spring! Seeing how they wonderful interacted with each other gave us much excitement for their upcoming wedding this Fall at Fairmont Pacific Rim.
We met Elizabeth and Charles through the wedding of Vivian and Rick in Vancouver last year and we were honoured when they decided to have us photograph their wedding this August! Starting out in Stanley Park under cherry blossom trees, these two showed a comfortability with each other that made this engagement session go effortlessly. We soon found oursevles inside the Marine Building in Coal Harbour. Getting the opportunity to photograph inside the Marine Building in downtown Vancouver was a special treat. The Art Deco details set the backdrop perfectly with Elizabeth and Charles shining in the spotlight. We are very much excited to be photographing the wedding of these two this summer!
Cherry blossom season is a beautiful yet fleeting moment in Vancouver. Combined with the rainy days of Spring, it is often a challenge to find a clear day for an engagement session. However, Emi and Kevin braved the elements and were full of smiles during the entire time. We can’t wait to document their wedding at UBC Boathouse in the fall!

Nestled in a quieter part of North Burnaby lies a beautiful row cherry blossom trees that overhangs over a short path. With these tress reaching full bloom, we had little choice but to photograph Sharon and Gary’s engagement on a blustery and rainy day. However, these two were not perturbed by the rain and totally embraced the inclement weather. With warm hearts and insatiable laughter, the documentation of Sharon and Gary’s engagement session made us excited for their summer wedding at Hycroft!
Taking advantage of a beautiful sunny day and cherry blossom season in Vancouver, we documented Sim and Vincent’s engagement session in Coal Harbour and Yaletown. Accompanied by their dog, Loki, it was wonderful to see these two effortlessly interact with each other . We very much look forward to capturing their wedding at UBC Botanical Gardens this summer and can’t wait to share with you images from the wedding!
Cherry blossoms in Vancouver are beautiful yet have such a transient season. We were fortunate to capture Nancy & Alex’s engagement session during this time at UBC and enjoyed every moment exploring the grounds of their alma mater. Nancy & Alex will be married at Swaneset this summer and we cannot wait to capture and share photos from the wedding!
