Having met Maggie and Jamie last year during their engagement session in Gastown, we were beyond excited for their wedding at UBC Boathouse. These two are always full of light-hearted smiles and warm hearts. The day started off at River Rock Casino Resort Hotel in Richmond, BC with Maggie getting ready while Jamie got the day started in Vancouver, BC. The hilarity and loving friendship of their bridal party provided such wonderful entertainment during the Chinese wedding tradition of door games. Later in the day, we found ourselves at Terra Nova Rural Park for an intimate first look followed by wedding portraits of the bridal party. Afterwards, a beautiful ceremony and reception took place at UBC Boathouse. Surrounded by the best friends and family, we spent the evening basking in love, laughter, and merriment. Our congratulations to Maggie and Jamie on a wonderful wedding!
In the short time we got to spend with Jenny and Kevin in Gastown and Stanley Park for their engagement session, we discovered how easy going and loving these two are! This made for us to capture their love for one another effortlessly. From the textured facades of Gastown to the budding trees and greenery of Stanley Park, there was no shortage of smiles and laughter. We very much look forward to their wedding at Brix & Mortar in August!
Wedding days such as this is a reminder why we love what we do. This intimate wedding of Erica and Daniel was located at Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver, BC. Much love was to be had amongst the closest friends and family as evidence by all the warm smiles and laughter throughout the beautiful wedding ceremony. A magnificent lunch reception followed at Hawksworth restaurant. We would like to congratulate Erica & Daniel for having us and wish them a wonderful marriage!
It was tremendous day documenting Shannon & Adam’s wedding in November. Their love for one another can only be summed up into one word: effortless. Shannon’s generosity towards her bridesmaids was evident at the Delta Hotel in Burnaby through meaningful gifts, which set the scene in the morning. Adam and his groomsmen were undoubtedly excited for the day and got ready in Richmond, BC. The first look was found on the beautiful grounds of Swaneset in Pitt Meadows on a sunny but blustery day. Amongst the closest family and friends, a romantic ceremony followed by a joyous reception ensued. We were most honoured to have photographed Shannon & Adam’s wedding and would like the wish them a wonderful marriage! Congratulations!
On a quiet street in East Vancouver, Jennifer and her bridesmaids were eagerly getting ready for what would be a most beautiful summer’s wedding under sunny skies. Simultaneously, Damian and his groomsmen were doing the same at River Rock Casino Hotel in Richmond, BC. We found ourselves at Terra Nova Rural Park in Richmond, BC for the first look and a portrait session amongst the beautiful grounds of this natural park. A tea ceremony followed and delightful outdoor wedding ceremony commenced on the dock at UBC Boathouse amongst close friends and family. Shortly after, a fun-filled reception took place at this wonderful venue and we were graced by a magnificent sunset. Congratulations to Jennifer and Damian! Thank you for having us document your wedding.
It was a summer’s day like no other- Laura and Ethan getting ready for what would be a memorable Vancouver wedding. Knox United Church was filled with their closest friends and family as we witnessed a heartwarming wedding ceremony. It was so effortless capturing Laura and Ethan against the backdrop of Coal Harbour on a beautiful sun-filled day. We had a fantastic time photographing beaming faces, emotional speeches, a surprise dance by Ethan and his friends, and a populated dance floor at Rosewood Hotel Georgia for the wedding reception. With warm hearts and unforgettable memories, we wish Laura and Ethan a wonderful marriage and thank them for having us document their wedding!
We were ecstatic and had been anticipating the wedding of Teri-Lynn and Andrew since they chose such wonderful locations to have their wedding in Vancouver and North Vancouver, BC. The day lived up to the hype and more as we began the morning at Hycroft (University Women’s Club of Vancouver) with a heartfelt ceremony amongst family and close friends. What turned out to be a beautiful summer day was highlighted with a photo session along Burrard Dry Dock Pier in North Vancouver. An evening of celebration at Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier cemented our excitement of documenting Teri-Lynn and Andrew’s wedding. Truly a most memorable night filled with laughter and merriment. Thank you for having us, Teri-Lynn and Andrew! Congratulations!
A brief encounter with Jessie & Albert was enough for us to realise how wonderful these two are and how much we wanted to document their wedding day. Jessie’s infectious smile and Albert’s calm demeanour gave us further confidence and excitement for their June wedding. On an early summer’s morning under stereotypical Vancouver skies, we found ourselves at Brockhouse Restaurant in Vancouver, BC. Not stereotypical was Jessie’s beautiful wedding dress which made for such beautiful morning portraits. In true form, Albert was tending to the days events and making sure his guests were comfortable upon arrival. With laughter and merriment, we felt honoured to be apart of their day and capture their wedding day celebrations. The love and kindness these two have for one another made for an effortless and heartfelt day. Thank you for having us and congratulations Jessie & Albert on your marriage!
