This summer, Joyce & Vince tied the knot in what was a joyous and heartfelt day. Having photographed these two at Iona Beach for their engagement, which revealed their beautiful personalities, we were very much looking forward to their wedding. The morning started in Vancouver with the traditional Chinese door games, followed by a Tea Ceremony. Later in the afternoon, we found ourselves at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby for a romantic first look before settling in at Hart Hose Restaurant for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony and reception. Our hearts are full from being part of Joyce & Vince’s special day and would like to wish them all the best on their marriage!
It’s quick to see how compatible these two are together from their relaxed smiles and overall lightheartedness. We’ve been anticipating Jennifer & Derek’s engagement session for quite some time and were thrilled upon receiving such beautiful weather in Vancouver. Their engagement session took us to the Rose Garden at Stanley Park and ended in Gastown. We are fortunate and ecstatic to be documenting their wedding this year at Rosewood Hotel Georgia!
Sharon and Gary are such a wonderful couple as evidence by their engagement session in North Burnaby where they were all laughter and smiles during inclement weather. Based on this, we knew their wedding would be joyous and memorable and we weren’t wrong! Their wedding day started off at The University of Women’s Club at Hycroft in Vancouver with a beautiful ceremony in the presence of close family and friends. The beautiful grounds of Hycroft was the perfect backdrop to their bridal portraits. Evening celebrations took place at Kirin Restaurant in New Westminster. Their smiles and humour throughout the day was contagious and these two reinforced our love for documenting weddings. We wish them congratulations on their marriage!
The special day started off at Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver where Vivian and her bridesmaids were getting ready for the first look, which took place out on the terrace overlooking the Vancouver Art Gallery. Later, a beautiful wedding ceremony at St. Anthony of Padua commenced where Vivian and Rick were surrounded by the closest friends and family. We found ourselves in Coal Harbour and Robson Square for bridal party photos before the traditional Tea Ceremony back at Rosewood Hotel Georgia. The evening was capped off in the Spanish Ballroom and we witnessed one of the most beautifully decorated receptions at this venue. Congratulations are in order to Vivian and Rick on a memorable wedding!
There are no shortage of beautiful places in Vancouver to capture the engagement session of Edith and Benny. With Stanley Park as the backdrop on a beautiful summer’s day, we were so happy to witness genuine smiles and laughter between the two. Starting off at the Rose Garden and ending at Brockton Point Lighthouse, it was clearly evident that Edith and Benny were the perfect fit for each other. We are so thrilled to document their wedding this September at Queen Elizabeth Park and Mayfair Lakes Golf Club in Richmond, BC.
In the short time we got to spend with Jenny and Kevin in Gastown and Stanley Park for their engagement session, we discovered how easy going and loving these two are! This made for us to capture their love for one another effortlessly. From the textured facades of Gastown to the budding trees and greenery of Stanley Park, there was no shortage of smiles and laughter. We very much look forward to their wedding at Brix & Mortar in August!
There’s always something so magical about golden hour during cherry blossom season in Vancouver, BC. Combined that with a wonderful couple and you have something truly special. We had the opportunity to document Felicia and Kenneth’s engagement in Stanley Park this Spring and it was all genuine moments between these two. Seeing how effortless it was to capture their love for one another during this beautiful season really makes us excited to photograph their wedding at Shaughnessy Golf Course this fall!
Taking advantage of a beautiful sunny day and cherry blossom season in Vancouver, we documented Sim and Vincent’s engagement session in Coal Harbour and Yaletown. Accompanied by their dog, Loki, it was wonderful to see these two effortlessly interact with each other . We very much look forward to capturing their wedding at UBC Botanical Gardens this summer and can’t wait to share with you images from the wedding!
Cherry blossoms in Vancouver are beautiful yet have such a transient season. We were fortunate to capture Nancy & Alex’s engagement session during this time at UBC and enjoyed every moment exploring the grounds of their alma mater. Nancy & Alex will be married at Swaneset this summer and we cannot wait to capture and share photos from the wedding!
One of the more ambitious engagement sessions, we visited three locations! Our day started off in Gastown where it was evident from the start that this was going to be a special day based on Vivian and Rick’s comfortability with each other. We then found ourselves at Rosewood Hotel Georgia before finally ending up in beautiful West Vancouver for the sunset.
