We can’t even express how wonderful these two are and their engagement session at Iona Beach Regional Park in Richmond, BC was full of love and warmth despite the windy conditions. Iona Beach is a unique park area of sand and grass- the perfect venue to showcase the beauty of these two. Nestled in a quieter part of North Burnaby lies a beautiful row cherry blossom trees that overhangs over a short path. With these tress reaching full bloom, we had little choice but to photograph Sharon and Gary’s engagement on a blustery and rainy day. However, these two were not perturbed by the rain and totally embraced the inclement weather. With warm hearts and insatiable laughter, the documentation of Sharon and Gary’s engagement session made us excited for their summer wedding at Hycroft!
Taking advantage of a beautiful sunny day and cherry blossom season in Vancouver, we documented Sim and Vincent’s engagement session in Coal Harbour and Yaletown. Cherry blossoms in Vancouver are beautiful yet have such a transient season. We were fortunate to capture Nancy & Alex’s engagement session during this time at UBC and enjoyed every moment exploring the grounds of their alma mater. Nancy & Alex will be married at Swaneset this summer and we cannot wait to capture and share photos from the wedding!
One of the more ambitious engagement sessions, we visited three locations! Our day started off in Gastown where it was evident from the start that this was going to be a special day based on Vivian and Rick’s comfortability with each other. We then found ourselves at Rosewood Hotel Georgia before finally ending up in beautiful West Vancouver for the sunset. We are very much looking forward to their wedding at Rosewood Hotel Georgia this summer!
It really warms our hearts capturing effortless love between two people and Tasnia & Jamin are ideal examples of such feelings. The day of the shoot began with snow and in typical Vancouver fashion, the sun came out in the afternoon. We started in Gastown and explored the area before ending up in Stanley Park at sunset. With warm genuine smiles, you couldn’t tell it was an extremely cold day. We are overly excited to document their wedding this summer and can’t wait to share with you the images!
