Having met Jenny & Kevin for their engagement session in Gastown earlier in the year, we were very much excited to document their wedding! Our morning began on a warm summer's day in Burnaby where we witnessed an intimate Chinese Tea Ceremony. We soon found ourselves at Deer Lake Park for a light-hearted first look and portraits before travelling to Yaletown Roundhouse in Vancouver. The ceremony and reception was at one of our favourite venues, Brix & Mortar in Yaletown where we captured their beautiful evening amongst close family and friends. We would like to congratulate Jenny & Kevin on a beautiful wedding and thank them for having us! Best wishes to both of you on a wonderful marriage!Read More
Taking advantage of a beautiful sunny day and cherry blossom season in Vancouver, we documented Sim and Vincent's engagement session in Coal Harbour and Yaletown. Accompanied by their dog, Loki, it was wonderful to see these two effortlessly interact with each other . We very much look forward to capturing their wedding at UBC Botanical Gardens this summer and can't wait to share with you images from the wedding!Read More
This wonderful wedding started off with being greeted by smiles and laughter at the Loden Hotel in Yaletown, Vancouver BC. One can see by their portrait session at Roundhouse that Vivien and Brian are truly in love. With a beautiful ceremony and reception at Brix & Mortar, it was an honour to document their, made better by the warmth of their friends and family, in the presence of such a beautiful day.Read More
A couple days ago I wanted to test out some new equipment, in particular, a new set of ND filters by LEE Filters. Having been inundated with rain this fall season in Vancouver, it was hard pressed to find a moment to snap a few photos. However, opportunity meets readiness and with a short clearing in the weather, I ventured to one of my favourite spots in Vancouver and snapped a 5 minute exposure of False Creek with views of Granville Island and Yaletown in the background. Needless to say I was very much impressed with the performance of the Lee Filters (I used a Big Stopper and Little Stopper together). Perhaps a full in-depth review in the future will be warranted but for now I would like to share with you the shot I took.
